Welcome to my website. I'm glad you stopped by and hope you will find out a little more about me.

My wife, Dana, and I have been DeSoto County residents since December of 1991. We recently moved from Southaven to the Lewisburg area and are enjoying a more country like surrounding. There is nothing better than enjoying an early morning cup of coffee while watching deer wander around your property. Occasionally, there will be a rabbit scurrying across the yard. Not to mention a wide variety of birds, hummingbirds, raccoons, frogs and yes, and occasional snake or two. Nature at its best.

Family is very important to me and in fact they will always come first. My family consists of my wife, Dana and one daughter, Mandy. Dana and I met at a Christian Singles Conference in Cordova, Tennessee one cold, dreary, rainy day. It was love at first sight for me but it took a little convincing before I won Dana over. Never let it be said that persistence doesn't pay off. These two ladies have been a world of support for me in every part of my life. I owe each of them a tremendous amount of gratitude.

Mandy met a wonderful young man, Jeremy, at a Single Group at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis. Well it wasn't too long until they were married. Like every father in this situation, I was thrilled for her and at the same time couldn't believe my little girl was moving out of the house. Then to make it worse, in October of 2004, they moved to Hudson, Ohio where Jeremy had accepted a very good position as a programmer.

I once heard a very good saying and it is so true, "If you want to know what is important in life, look at the pictures in your wallet." I doubt very seriously most of us have pictures of our office, cubicle, car, truck or the material things in life. Our family pictures are in our wallets because that is what is most important.

As you can tell, church plays a very important role in our lives. Dana and I are active members of New Prospect Baptist Church in Olive Branch. I serve on the Security and Personnel teams and was elected in 2018 to serve as a Deacon. Dana is very active in the AWANA ministry.

On the vocational side, I retired from the Technology Services division of FedEx Services in 2014 after a 30 year career. Now I jokingly say that I retired from FedEx and went to work for Dana. The "Honey Do" list has grown. I am also a professional Santa Claus. This started around 2007 as a joke and became a true calling. To find out moe about this journey, click on the Santa Steve link. Dana is still gainfully employed at FedEx in the Feeder Operations group. She gets to travel some domestically and I go along to keep her company. Once she retires, which I hope is not too long, we will jump in our RV and tour the country.

Thanks again for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day and may God Bless you!!
